Ashley Darby confirmed that their “romantic bond is broken” as they part ways after years of marriage and two kids.
The marriage of Ashley Darby and her Australian businessman was already tainted several times by the infidelity of her husband and several cheating scandals.
33-years-old Ashley and Michael got married back in May of 2014 and have two sons, 2-years-old Dean and 1-year-old Dylan. The Australian business tycoon is 29 years older than the reality star.
“Almost eight years ago, when Michael and I said ‘I do,’ we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward. Unfortunately, that is not our current reality,” Ashley Darby confessed in a statement
“We have decided to separate. We are aware that there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision.”
Darby stated that people are speculating that the reason behind this separation is “too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems, or child-rearing differences.” “Pieces of all these may have affected our pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways.”
The marriage was already in shackles when Michael Darby was caught stark naked with another woman. He also faced the accusation of allegedly groping a producer but denied all the accusations.
His continuous scandals made Ashley Darby sign up for a postnuptial agreement.
