Zuri Craig dies at 44, an announcement made by his family that left not just America’s Got Talent but also Jeffery Lewis, the second of the duo to lead The CraigLewis Band, in striking devastation.

His family did not reveal the cause of the death but how gravely it impacted their life. Zuri’s Instagram account Zeromi posted, “It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Zuri Craig.”

They expressed how difficult it has been to process his departure, “We thank you in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy during this unimaginable time of mourning,” they elaborated on Instagram.

Zuri Craig and Jeffery Lewis were among the most talented duos at America’s Got Talent, so much to pave their way to the show’s finale and finish in the fifth position, followed by uncountable ‘Yesses’ from the judges.

Lewis bid farewell to his inseparable part of life on Instagram, “On yesterday I lost my brother, my friend. I am broken, completely devastated,” He stated further, “I love you more than words can express. The CraigLewis Band Forever! Rest In Peace My Friend.”

Lewis could not help himself from revisiting the rendition they both did on YouTube, essentially of The Brady Bunch’s theme song, saying, “Remembering how it all started for us,” he wrote. “#TheBradyBunch Love you Zuri RIP.”

Zuri Craig was indeed a melodious singer and a witty actor of this time and would be remembered as an invaluable talent that America has ever got.
