Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley have reportedly called off their engagement a few days ago. Though the news is still not confirmed, the rumour has it that both have parted ways, indeed.

The three-time most valuable player of the NFL penned down a heartfelt post to express his gratitude for the 30-year-old actress with whom he remained engaged for more than a year.

Aaron Rodgers wrote on his Instagram with the hashtag #MondayNightGratitude while writing down for “some of the incredibly special people in my life” in the last year.

He started his post with a message for his rumoured ex- fiancé Shailene Woodley stating “@shailenewoodley, thanks for letting me chase after you the first couple months after we met, and finally letting me catch up to you and be a part of your life. Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful for you.”

He further continued by expressing his love and gratitude for his teammates and close friends. “To the men, I got to share the QB room with every day, Matt, Nathaniel, Luke, @jordan3love, and @kurtbenkert, you guys made every day so much fun and I’m so thankful for the daily laughs and stress relief you brought me every week of the year. I love you guys,” Rodgers wrote.

“To the Friday Crew, @aiydacobb, @rcobb18, @frankieshebby, and @davidbakhtiari, I loved every moment we got to spend together this year. Your love and support was overwhelming, and I cherish the friendships I have with each of you,” he added.

He further added that he cherishes all the memories he made with all his teammates both former and current.

“Spread love and gratitude you beautiful people, and read a book once in a while too while you’re at it. Love and peace,” he concluded.

Reps of Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley have not responded to the rumours of the alleged split but according to close sources, the split was amicable. “It was an amicable split; it just wasn’t working,” a source stated. “They’re very different people with busy careers, and there were obstacles that they couldn’t surmount. They will remain friendly; there’s no bad blood and no drama. It just didn’t work out for them.”
