Alaska- A fifth US soldier was found dead in his home last month raising concerns regarding the army. He was the fifth military service member.
In addition, the Master Sgt. Wesley Woods, who is a 40-year-old officer for the Combat Team belonging to the Infantry Division was also pronounced dead when the responders over the incident place were not able to resuscitate him at his home, dated Dec 30.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Master Sgt. Woods,” Lt. Col. Matthew Chase, commander of the 70th Brigade Engineer Battalion, said in a statement, according to the report.
“He was a dedicated, servant leader who made a tremendous impact during his time in the Arctic Wolf Brigade and through his career in the Army. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and all those that cared for him at this time,” Chase added.
The news sources further revealed that the Alaska-based troopers along with the Army Criminal Investigation Division are also investigating the case and root cause behind other soldiers who have succumbed to death in recent months.
On December 8th, one of the Spc, named Hunter Trey Stafford was found dead in his home. He was tasked with aircraft powerplant repairer.
Another Spc, Isaiah Nicholas Oneal, and Sgt. Miles Jordan Tarron was both found dead in separate vicinities.
The next soldier was Oneal who was working as a mechanic in the 25th support battalion of the Army in the infantry division.
After that, Tarron was another soldier who was a specialist in chemical, nuclear, and biological weapons working in the same infantry division. The investigation is on its way regarding these deaths under mysterious circumstances.
